In late 2016 SSH Communications Security will release a free modern Windows SSH client. As the original inventors of the SSH protocol, we feel that there should be no obstacles for secure logins. This is why we will offer our new Windows SSH Client to be downloaded for free.

Our SSH Client will be available free of charge - for any use. Support services are available for a fee. Our SSH Client features:

- Modern UI for a familiar browser-like experience, with support for tabs.
- Ease of use without a need for upfront configuration — just connect and modify to your liking.
- Recall and pre-filling of previously used connection parameters.
- Support for public key authentication and keyboard interactive (PAM) authentication.
- Support for SSH key management.
- Fully internationalized terminal and file transfer. Localizations available for select regions.

There are also other SSH servers available but no other server is currently supported by known SSH key management solutions for Windows.
Other Windows SSH Client Options
There are several other clients and servers available. These are generally not supported for SSH key management and may not have commercial support or 24x7 support available.

Chrome SSH extension - The Google Chrome browser can be turned into an SSH client with an extension available in the Chrome Web Store. The Chrome SSH (beta) offers a basic SSH protocol capability.

VanDyke Software offers their commercial client software for a free, time-limited evaluation. VanDyke SecureCRT and SecureFX clients supports telnet, Secure Shell (SSH), and SFTP. An evaluation copy can be downloaded from https://vandyke.com/download/index.html .
WinSCP is a free open source Windows client for file transfers. In addition to file transfer (with FTP, SFTP, or SCP protocols) WinSCP offers a basic file manager functionality and supports scripting. More information
