Rami has been a member of the company’s Executive Management Team since 2021 as Head of the EMEA Region and has been with the company since 2016.

Rami is a seasoned sales leader with a background in international leadership positions in sales and business management, marketing, and product management in global companies.

He has developed and led regional and global sales teams for successful sales growth and customer satisfaction and loyalty. He is experienced in go-to-market strategy, implementation, and channel partner management.

He has worked in senior management positions in major companies, including Ahlstrom, Aspocomp, ICL, Fujitsu, Fujitsu-Siemens, and Nokia.

He holds a Master of Science degree in strategic marketing, business economics, and computer science from the Helsinki School of Economics (currently Aalto University).

Michael is a seasoned finance leader with a background in financial management, controlling, and analyst roles in several global companies.

He has worked in various roles in major companies, including AbbVie, Novo Nordisk, Oriola, and Schindler.

He holds a Master of Science degree in economics from Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.

Miikka Sainio has been with SSH since 2016 when he joined as the Head of UX to consolidate and improve the SSH product user experience. Later on, he moved to work as the principal architect and product owner for SSH PrivX Privileged Access Management solution.

As a solutions architect, Miikka has worked with building and coordinating large, international software and service development teams in launching massive consumer products.

Miikka has a 25-year history of developing software and services in companies ranging from small startups to Nokia.

Product usability and user happiness are close to Miikka’s heart, and he has found that the most enticing and positively disruptive product opportunities stem from the intersections of established real-world operational models and the opportunities made possible by digitalization.

Harri Pendolin joined SSH at the beginning of 2026 and serves as Chief Product Officer, with responsibility for the company’s product portfolio and marketing.

Harri brings extensive experience in product management and leadership. He began his career at Nokia as a Product Manager and went on to hold several senior product leadership roles across multiple Nokia business divisions. After his corporate career, Harri transitioned into consulting, working with Contribyte, Eficode, and Taskmill, where he supported dozens of companies in developing and scaling their product businesses.

Harri is passionate about operating at the intersection of market needs, technology, and business. He is particularly driven by building clear product strategies and executing them in a data-driven manner to deliver measurable impact.

Harri holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology.

With over 20 years of industry experience, David has held senior IT architecture and security roles in global banks in London, New York, and Sydney. Before joining SSH, David’s role at Deutsche Bank involved introducing SSH Technology to resolve security audit points related to unauthorized SSH access.

David joined SSH in 2016 as a Solution Engineering Manager and progressed into leading professional services, presales, and building our global partner program. David has helped win and establish close business relationships with strategic accounts and partners across EMEA.

David holds a Masters of Electronic and Electrical Engineering Degree from Imperial College London and an Executive MBA from Imperial College Business School.

Henri Österlund (b. 1971) is the founder of Accendo Capital SICAV, which creates shareholder value through active ownership.

Previously, Österlund has served as a Partner of Conventum Corporate Finance, Partner of Triton Private Equity investment fund in London, and as an Analyst at Doughty Hanson Private Equity fund in Stockholm.

Österlund holds a Master’s degree in economics from the Helsinki School of Economics (currently Aalto University).

Fredrikson is an investor and governance professional.

Deep knowledge of global commercialization of advanced technologies.

He has formerly served as CEO of F-Secure, CEO of Fingerprint Cards, the Head of the Asia Pacific Region, and Head of Sales for Nokia Siemens Networks.

He currently also serves as a Board member of Remedy Entertainment, Advisor to Edge Venture Capital, and a member of the foundation for Åbo Akademi.

Catharina Candolin (b 1977) is a cyber security and defence expert currently working at OP Group.

Previously, Candolin has worked at the Finnish Defence Forces and NATO HQ with cyber security and defence, for which she has been awarded with the Medal for Military Merits(2015) and The Knight First Class of the Order of the Lion of Finland (2020). Prior to that, Candolin has worked in the academia and in private sector companies. She is an active public speaker.

Candolin holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) from Helsinki University of Technology (currently Aalto University). She studied her minor at the National Defence University in Finland.

Kai Tavakka (b. 1986) is a partner in Accendo Capital since 2015 after working in the firm since 2012.

Mr. Tavakka has a corporate finance background (PCA Corporate Finance, Danske Corporate Finance). He is a CFA Charterholder and he holds a Master's degree in Economics from Aalto University.

Tuomo Louhivuori is a Senior Technology Executive with extensive experience in successfully leading multibillion-dollar international businesses, building diverse high-performing teams, creating new business areas, and executing transformation. Louhivuori has a deep understanding of the services business and technology sector with a special focus on providing mission-critical solutions for customers operating in all industries.

Louhivuori has a proven track record of delivering business results and continuous improvements by harnessing emerging technologies to drive digital transformation while leveraging already made investments.

Louhivuori is experienced in working with Private Equity owners and using mergers, acquisitions, and divestments to accelerate turnarounds. Rare combination of sales leadership, and technical and security skills with the ability to use them to identify and execute growth opportunities.

Francesco Di Sandro (b. 1982) has over 15 years of experience in strategy and business development and joined Leonardo S.p.A.’s Cyber & Security Solutions Division in October 2023 to drive its strategic repositioning and growth in line with Leonardo group’s ambitions in the sector.

Over the years, he has served as a board member in several companies and contributed to think tanks, academic programs, and institutional forums.

Di Sandro holds a Ph.D. in Law & Economics and an international LL.M. from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Ghent University, and the University of Bologna, and graduated with honors in Law & Economics from LUISS University in Rome.

Tatu Ylönen founded SSH Communications Security, grew the company to $20 million in sales and 190 employees in five years, and led the company to a public listing on the Nasdaq Nordic in 2000. He is an experienced entrepreneur and the original inventor of SSH (Secure Shell). For more information, see his personal page.
