Configuring the Syslog Facility for Management Server

You can configure the syslog facility to which the Management Server will send the log messages about its own operations. To define the setting:

  1. Open the /etc/opt/ssh-mgmt/server/tectia-manager.cfg configuration file for editing.

  2. Select one of the following values for the syslog-facility setting: auth, security, daemon, user, mail, local0, local1, local2, local3, local4, local5, local6, local7. The default value is daemon.
