Managing Logs

The Management Server handles two sets of logs:

  • system log entries about the Management Server operations are collected and sent to the operating-system-specific syslog

  • log entries sent from the managed hosts are received and stored in the Management Server database.

The logs of the managed hosts can be viewed and managed via the administration interface.

(For information on configuring the Management Agent logging, see Collecting Host Logs.)
