SSH Tectia Server Certificate Enrollment Settings

SSH Tectia Server hosts need to enroll host certificates for server authentication. SSH Tectia Manager can be used to automate this procedure to ease PKI deployment. SSH Tectia Manager supports a standards-based certificate request generation (PKCS#10). The Management Agent on the managed host can automatically generate the private key and certificate request for the SSH Tectia Server software on the host. For this, the following items need to be configured in the server enrollment settings (Figure 5.23):

  • Enrollment PKI

  • Key type and length

  • Subject name (mapping certain host information to certificate field contents)
