SSH Communications Security’s CryptoAuditor Now Certified VCE Vblock Ready

Vblock Ready Certification Brings Business Benefits of Converged Infrastructure to CryptoAuditor

HELSINKI and WALTHAM, Mass., Aug. 31, 2015 – SSH Communications Security today announced that its CryptoAuditor™ solution is now certified as a Vblock Ready solution through the VCE Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. The TAP program is designed for independent software vendors, hardware manufacturers, virtual appliance vendors and other technology providers looking to simplify and accelerate their solutions for deployment with VCE Vblock systems. Vblock Ready certification delivers the assurance that CryptoAuditor can now interoperate with Vblock systems. End-users can now achieve the following benefits:

  • Encrypted channel monitoring: CryptoAuditor is a network-based virtual appliance that has the capability to control, monitor and audit encrypted administrator sessions, as well as file transfers. Because CryptoAuditor requires no agents to be deployed or access portal to go through, it is fast to implement and has no impact on end-user experience or workflows.
  • Hardened data center operations security: CryptoAuditor provides customers with the means to enhance the security of their datacenter operations beyond base-line bastion host or gateway models of managing access.
  • Dramatically lowered IT costs: VCE Vblock systems provide rapid deployments and dramatically lower IT costs by offering pre-integrated, pre-tested and pre-validated IT infrastructures that combine best-in-class compute, network, storage, data protection and virtualization technologies from Cisco, EMC and VMware, delivered as a single product with unified support.
  • Faster ROI: VCE works with Superna to conduct and administer Vblock system certifications for VCE TAP program members. This certification enables mutual channel partners and customers to accelerate adoption of Vblock systems while leveraging SSH Communications Security’s CryptoAuditor solution for managing and auditing administrator sessions.

Matthew McKenna, chief commercial officer, SSH Communications Security, said:

“CryptoAuditor provides a streamlined, budget-friendly access management solution for the benefit of VCE customers. This powerful new component monitors and records the activities of privileged users without interfering with their normal workflow. As Vblock Ready certified, CryptoAuditor is now certified to work with Vblock systems, enabling advanced auditing and access management capabilities for VCE customers.”

DJ Long, senior director, technology alliances, VCE, said:

“VCE is pleased to welcome SSH Communications Security as a Technology Alliance Partner for VCE Vblock systems. As a VCE TAP partner, SSH can now integrate its products with Vblock systems, delivering transformative data center solutions for mutual customers that enable the agility, simplicity and economics of converged infrastructure with SSH’s expertise in encrypted communications.”
