Options

The options of ssh-ca-backup are described below.

  • -keep-old

    Leave all old database backups in the backup directory.

  • -bak-dir my-bakdir

    Store/restore the backup data to/from my-bakdir instead of the default.

  • -without-conf

    Do not backup/restore the Certifier conf directory.

  • -without-ca-pki

    Do not backup/restore the Certifier var/pki directory.

  • -without-nfast

    Do not backup or restore the nCipher security world.

  • -with-nfast

    Do backup/restore the nCipher security world.

  • -nfast-kmdata-dir

    Specify the location of the nCipher security world.

  • -skip-validation

    Before performing the backup, the database integrity is checked and the backup is not performed if the database is corrupted. This option skips the integrity check. Only for emergency recovery purposes.

  • -restore

    Restore the database from the most recent backup and merge in the recent changes from the database log or its mirrors.

  • -restore-lossy

    Restore the database from the most recent backup but do not merge in the recent changes from the database log or its mirrors.

  • -restore-lossy-from YYYYMMDD-hhmmss | current

    Restore the database from the specified backup, do not merge in the recent changes from the database log or its mirrors. Specifying current as the date is equivalent to using just -restore-lossy.

  • -list

    List the old backups available for restoration and exit.
