Finding Objects by Numerical ID

The SSH Tectia Certifier Administration GUI does not display the numerical IDs of requests, certificates, entities, operators, CAs, RAs, etc. The log messages, on the other hand, refer to these objects only by the numerical ID. To find the relevant object, you must perform a search by that ID. This is achieved by entering a number sign (#) character followed by the internal object ID to the Search with Serial Number input box in the web administration Database Search page. For example, entering #1 will find the default "admin" operator which was created at install time.
