Automating Startup

By default under Windows, the SSH Tectia Certifier components (Engine, Server, Database) have to be started manually after reboot. You can automate the startup of SSH Tectia Certifier components by modifying the Windows Services properties.

To automate the startup of Certifier components:

  1. On the Windows Start menu, click Settings -> Control Panel. Double-click Services.
  2. From the Services list, select the component you wish to modify and click Startup. The components are named:
    Adaptive Server Anywhere - SSH_Certifier_DB
    SSH Tectia Certifier Engine
    SSH Tectia Certifier Server
  3. In the Service dialog box, select Automatic as Startup Type and click OK.
  4. Click Close when finished.
