Installing Management Agents

Make sure you have the ICB files created as instructed in Managing Initial Configuration Blocks (ICBs).

The Management Agents can be deployed manually or by using an existing third-party software deployment system.

For Unix systems, also automatic initial deployment can be activated. For more information, see Automatic Initial Deployment.

Installation packages are delivered in Linux rpm, HP-UX depot, Solaris pkg, AIX lpp, and Windows msi packaging formats.
