The event log shows notices and error messages generated by Tectia Manager.
To view the system-wide event log, click Logging → Event log on the menu.
On the Event log search page, set the Event status and the Severity of the events you wish to view. Set also whether to view events of Selected severity only or Selected and higher severity. Change the start and end times if necessary. Click the Search button to begin the search.
The event log is displayed. After reviewing the log, you can mark events as closed by selecting the check boxes on the left and clicking the Close selected events button at the bottom of the page. You will be asked for confirmation. Click Yes to close the event(s).
Click Close to return to the Event log search page.
To view the event log for a host, click Hosts → View hosts on the menu.
Select the group from the tree view and click the hostname on the list. Click the Event log tab on the Host info page. The event log for the host is shown. As above, you can mark events as closed by selecting the check boxes on the left and clicking the Close selected events button.
Click Close to return to the View hosts page, or click another tab to continue.
