Changing the Superuser Timezone

You can change the timezone settings any time you want. Tectia Manager saves information into the system using UTC time, so the timezone setting affects only the time information shown during each session.

Tectia Manager does not automatically follow any daylight saving scheme, but keeps the same time year round. In case you wish to change the Management Server to summer time, change the timezone of the administrator account manually.

To change the administrator timezone, when logged in as the superuser:

  1. Click Settings → My account on the menu.

  2. Click the My timezone button.

  3. In the dropdown list, select the difference between your local timezone and the UTC (also known as GMT) in hours and click Save.
