SSH Tectia

Files Created during Initial Configuration

After the initial configuration is complete, the following directories and files have been created in /etc/opt/ssh-mgmt/server, /var/opt/ssh-mgmt/server, and /var/opt/ssh-mgmt/server/db.

/etc/opt/ssh-mgmt/server:

tectia-manager.cfg

/var/opt/ssh-mgmt/server:

mgmt-ca.bin
mgmt-ca.prv
mgmt-keys.x509
mgmt-server.bin
mgmt-server.prv
mgmt-www-gui.bin
mgmt-www-gui.prv
random_seed
server-config.dat
server-env.sh

/var/opt/ssh-mgmt/server/db:

ssh-mgmt.db
ssh-mgmt.log

All files are owned by the designated Management Server user account configured at the initial configuration. All files are readable only by the owner. The files server-config.dat, randomseed, and all .prv files contain sensitive information, such as encryption keys and database passwords. As a rule, all files under /var/opt/ssh-mgmt/server must be considered confidential and must be kept safe (also on backups).
