SSH Tectia

Assigning Configurations per Group

SSH Tectia configurations are mapped to hosts using one of the configured views. The view is selected the first time when a superuser visits the Assign configurations page.

It is possible to set the SSH Tectia Client/Server configuration per group or per host. Per-group assignment is usually preferred, as maintaining host-specific configurations will become tedious in large networks.

Note that SSH Tectia Connector configurations are not assigned separately. They are defined per host or host group and created dynamically on all hosts running SSH Tectia Connector in the managed network according to the tunneling rule set defined in Configurations → Connector configurations.

To assign a configuration to a group:

  1. Click Configurations → Assign configurations on the menu.

  2. Select a group from the tree view and click the Edit button.

  3. Select one of the available configurations for each SSH Tectia installation type and click Save.
