Viewing the Audit Logs

The audit log shows the actions performed on a certain object stored on the Management Server. It is available for hosts and host configurations in the administration interface, or it can be viewed by an administrator of SSH Tectia Manager.

Viewing the Audit Log for an Admin

To view the audit log, click Logging → Audit Log on the menu.

On the Audit log search page, select the SSH Tectia Manager admin User whose actions you want to view. Change the start and end times if necessary. Click the Search button to begin the search.

The audit log is displayed. Click Details next to a log event to view it in more detail.

Click Close to return to the Audit log search page.

Viewing the Audit Log for a Host

To view the audit log for a host, click Hosts → View hosts on the menu.

Select the group from the tree view and click the hostname on the list. Click the Audit log tab on the Host info page. The audit log for the host is shown. Click Details next to a log event to view it in more detail.

Click Close to return to the View hosts page or click another tab to continue.

Viewing the Audit Log for a Configuration

To view the audit log for a managed software configuration, click Configurations → Edit configurations on the menu. Select a configuration on the tree view and click the Audit log button. The audit log for the configuration is shown. Click Details next to a log event to view it in more detail.

Click Close to return to the configuration page.
