Cloud Computing Companies

Cloud computing is a very broad field that is touching almost every aspect of computing. Consequently, different companies dominate different segments of cloud computing.

Cloud service providers operate cloud infrastructure and provide virtual machines, containers, serverless execution, and other computing services from the cloud.

Cloud security companies provide security tools and infrastructure for the cloud (and often also for traditional on-premise infrastructure).

Thousands companies now sell software from the cloud; in fact, many companies only sell software as a service from the cloud. See major Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies.
