Using an existing third-party software deployment mechanism, for example, Microsoft SMS or Active Directory on Windows

Manually by copying and installing the Management Agent and ICB on the hosts to be managed.

Optionally (if enabled on Unix hosts), by using ssh if already running on the server. Alternatively, by using rlogin/telnet if Secure Shell is not available and the network can be assumed to be safe at the time of installation (SSH Tectia Manager can automate the initial deployment by using these tools). The deployment using ssh requires SSH Tectia Client and Server on the Management Server.

	Note
	Because of differences in the target hosts, the automatic initial deployment is not guaranteed to work for all hosts. We recommend that you use other installation options instead.
