Byron Rashed, Director of Marketing, Americas
Byron Rashed is Director of Marketing for SSH Communications Security, Inc., responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and programs for the Americas. As a member of SSH’s global marketing team, Mr. Rashed also helps develop and execute SSH’s worldwide marketing and communications strategies and programs.
Mr. Rashed joined SSH in 2000, bringing over 15 years experience leading successful marketing campaigns, product launches and public relations in the Americas. Prior to joining SSH, he managed Marketing Communications at VPNet, a leading developer of VPN products. Before VPNet, Mr. Rashed managed the marketing department at EPICO, Earlier, he held marketing and operations positions at American Express and Bankers Trust Company.
Mr. Rashed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, American Marketing Association, Computer Security Institute, ISSA, and Institute of Industrial Engineers.
