SSH Tectia Version 6.0 Introduces New Products With Industry First Features that Drastically Reduce the Cost and Time Needed to Secure FTP File Transfers and Data-In-Transit

SSH Tectia ConnectSecure will help organizations of any size secure FTP files transfers and data-in-transit quickly and easily, without any need for modifications to applications, scripts or infrastructure. The product introduces new revolutionary features including automatic FTP-SFTP Conversion, Transparent FTP Tunneling and Transparent TCP Tunneling, enabling IT departments to replace unsecure protocols with secure proven protocols in hours or days rather than weeks. SSH Tectia ConnectSecure is available on Unix, Linux and Windows platforms and will work not only with SSH Tectia Servers but also with other secure shell (SSH) server products, such as OpenSSH and commercially supported versions.

The new release also features SSH Tectia Client for Windows 6.0, a significantly enhanced Windows client that now supports Transparent TCP Tunneling and Automatic Tunneling, in addition to the traditional secure shell port forwarding. This makes the product the ideal choice for securing virtually any TCP/IP application without any modifications or changes. SSH Tectia Client for Windows is now the most versatile and capable secure shell client available on the market.

Additional new features in SSH Tectia version 6.0 include:

• New platform support – several new platforms, including HP-UX 11i v3, have been added, further expanding SSH Tectia's robust range of enterprise platform support.
  
• Improved performance – the fast streaming Crypticore ciphers are now supported on Unix and Linux on Intel architecture platforms.
  
• Improved IBM z/OS integration – several usability and performance improvements, including improved data streaming, makes SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS the ideal product for secure file transfers between mainframe and distributed environments.
