Timo Rinne Will Present How to Secure Data Communications in the Age of Deperimeterization
SSH Communications Security Corp. (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading provider of enterprise security solutions and end-to-end communications security, and the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol, today announced that Timo Rinne, chief technology officer (CTO), will be speaking at ISSE 2005, the largest independent data protection conference in Europe which is now held for the 7th consecutive year. The session titled"Securing Data in the Age of Deperimeterization" is part of the Security Management Track held in the Budapest University of Technology & Economics, Budapest, Hungary on September 29 at 11.45 am.As a result of increasing adoption of wireless access to enterprise networks, integration with business partners, and employee remote access, protecting enterprise networks can no longer be implemented in the network perimeter alone. This effect is now known as deperimeterization - the disappearing perimeter. Timo Rinne will give an overview of the key IT security trends and drivers related to deperimeterization, and present an approach on how to secure data communications in de-perimeterized environments.
Mr. Rinne joined SSH in 1998, and has assumed various management positions with SSH's engineering department including Vice President, Engineering (1998-2000) and Director of Technology in Network Systems (2001-2002). Mr. Rinne has held key roles in the development of all products in SSH's history.
