LinuxWorld Site of Full-Scale Demo for the Industry’s Enterprise-class Secure Shell Solution

SSH Communications Security Corp. (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading provider of enterprise security solutions and end-to-end communications security, and the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol, today announced that it will publicly demonstrate it's new versions of its SSH Tectia™ solution for IBM eServer™.

SSH Tectia is the leading end-to-end communications security solution for the enterprise, and now supports Linux running on a wide range of IBM eServer platforms, including the zSeries®, iSeries™, pSeries®, OpenPower™, and BladeCenter™ JS20 servers.

The systems will be shown in the IBM pavilion at LinuxWorld beginning August 8 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. SSH will demonstrate the SSH Tectia client/server solution for IBM Linux on POWER systems.

The SSH Tectia port to IBM eServer systems came as a result of participation by SSH, an IBM Business Partner, in a pilot program for the IBM eServer Application Advantage™ for Linux (Chiphopper). SSH Tectia is also supported on AIX for pSeries, Windows for xSeries and z/OS for zSeries. It is also the industry's first enterprise security solution to fully integrate the well-established Secure Shell protocol for IBM mainframes, and run natively on IBM z/OS®.

SSH Tectia now provides a broad base of IBM system users with robust, comprehensive enterprise security, including secure system administration, secure application connectivity, and secure file transfer functionality.
