SSH to Present SSH Tectia Security Solution at the DoD Public Key Enabling (PKE) Technical Forum
SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of managed security middleware, today announced that SSH Product Manager Vesa Vatka has been selected to speak by the United States Airforce at the DoD Public Key Enabling (PKE) Technical Forum. The presentation will take place on Friday, Nov. 19, at 10:30 a.m. EST at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Vatka will be discussing and conducting a demo of the FIPS 140-2 certified SSH Tectia security solution. SSH Tectia is an enterprise class suite of security solutions based on SSH's industry leading technologies. Based on the award winning SSH Secure Shell used by millions worldwide, SSH Tectia enables end-to-end secure communications throughout the internal and external network providing transparent strong encryption and authentication and easily integrates into heterogeneous, multi-platform environments. SSH Tectia's management capabilities allow for easy scalability and centralized policy deployment.
With more than 10 years of experience in government and banking IT technology, Vatka has a broad knowledge of smart cards, biometrics and PKI technology, and solution provisioning. As a product manager for SSH Communications Security, Inc., he is responsible for the business application protection suite of SSH. Prior to SSH, he was an IT system manager with the Ministry of Interior of Finland, responsible for smart cards, PKI and biometrics. Prior to the Ministry of Interior of Finland, Vatka was a vice president of Sampo Bank's E&M/Card business unit, responsible for planning PKI based solutions.
