SSH commences employer/employee negotiations to concentrate its operations from Kuopio to Helsinki
SSH continues to optimize its operations along the lines started last spring by centralizing its R&D and product management functions. As a result of the re-arrangement of operations, product development of SSH Sentinel(TM) product will be moved from Kuopio to Helsinki, and the companys Kuopio office will be closed. The company does not believe that closing down the Kuopio office will effect the development of SSH Sentinel product sales. The company estimates the operations moved from Kuopio to Helsinki will require 2-4 persons. The employer/employee negotiations will apply to the whole Kuopio office that currently employs 12 people. Some employees of the Kuopio office will be offered the possibility to transfer to the headquarters in Helsinki. The purpose of these measures is to continue the improvement of companys profitability and the cost structure, thus improving preconditions for long-term growth.
