SSH To Discuss Wireless Security Issues At Upcoming International IT Conference & Expo

Rashed's presentation, "Trials and Tribulations of Securing the Wireless Internet," will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Toronto Congress Centre.
While wireless LAN use is growing dramatically, few understand the real security issues users and IT departments face with this exciting new technology. Rashed will address the latest trends and technologies including 3G and WLAN. Truly pervasive adoption from these technologies in the U.S. will require security, interoperability and scalability. Rashed has 20 years of industry experience leading global marketing programs for a variety of companies. Prior to SSH, he led the marketing communications staff at VPNet Technologies, where he established corporate strategies for company positioning. Prior to VPNet, Rashed managed the marketing department at EPICO, where he initiated new technology programs for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and e-commerce using ASPs (Application Service Providers). Rashed is a member of the American Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America, and earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
