SSH Licenses SSH Sentinel VPN Client Software to Fortinet
SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of Internet security solutions, today announced that Fortinet (www.fortinet.com) has licensed the award-winning SSH Sentinel VPN (Virtual Private Network) client software. Fortinet, a provider of network protection systems and the only provider of ASIC-powered, network-based antivirus solutions, will OEM the SSH Sentinel VPN client software in its new Fortinet Remote VPN Client software for secure remote access.
The Fortinet Remote VPN Client, currently available, is compatible with the entire series of FortiGate Network Protection Gateways (NPGs). Based on the SSH Sentinel technology, the Fortinet Remote VPN Client is a powerful, easy-to-use software application that allows telecommuters, remote employees, mobile workers, internal users and business partners to establish secure and encrypted IPSec (Internet Protocol Security) VPN tunnels between Microsoft Windows based computers and systems located at sites that are secured using FortiGate NPGs.
