SSH Sponsors Student Scholarships at RSA 2002
SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of Internet security solutions, today announced that it will sponsor 10 RSA Conference 2002 scholarships for full-time students interested in attending the conference. The scholarships cover the full registration fee for the conference including tutorial tracks and exhibits. SSH is the only Internet security company to sponsor this years scholarship program.
There is a shortage of people skilled in Internet security technologies," said George Adams, President and CEO, SSH USA."SSH sees this scholarship program as an opportunity to help develop future luminaries. Leading Internet security vendors gather at RSA every year to share industry breakthroughs, participate in lectures and tutorial programs and most importantly, communicate with one another. Students attending the conference will have the chance to take advantage of this knowledge, in addition to the opportunity to network with industry leaders, such as SSH, who are consistently transforming the industry with new innovations."
The annual RSA Conference brings the worlds leading e-security professionals and cryptography systems experts together and draws over 12,000 attendees. Students interested in qualifying for the RSA scholarships submitted their personal history and professional qualifications to RSA Security. A committee comprised of employees from RSA Laboratories reviewed the applications and selection preference was given to graduate students and advanced undergraduates in relevant disciplines. Winners will be notified the week before the conference. The RSA Conference 2002 will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., Feb 18- 22, 2002.
