SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of Internet security solutions, today announced version 1.3 of IPVia Secure Network and new security hardware products. IPVia Secure Network, previously known as SSH Complete VPN, offers service providers and enterprises a truly scaleable, manageable, and easily deployable VPN solution for secure site-to-site and remote access connectivity.

Version 1.3 of IPVia Secure Network offers support for using an external PKI solution for remote user management, allowing service providers and enterprises to take advantage of the manageability, scalability, and flexibility of a full-scale CA/RA solution such as SSH Certifier(TM). IPVia Secure Network 1.3 further offers Proxy ARP for even more transparent installation into existing networks, IPVia Gateway statistics monitoring through a web- interface, and using an IPVia Gateway as a DHCP server or relay for the local area network.

SSH also expands its security gateway lineup by introducing two new models. The current IPVia 500 model is joined by the small office gateway IPVia 250 and the rack mountable IPVia 500R. With innovative features such as smart card based deployment and NAT Traversal, all IPVia Gateways offer close to zero-effort installation at the customer site, high adaptability to diverse network topologies, and automated policy and configuration updates. The expanded hardware lineup makes it even easier to match IPVia Secure Network to the needs of end user environments.

The software components of IPVia Secure Network are IPVia Central Manager and IPVia Smart Client. IPVia Central Manager allows service providers and enterprises to remotely manage policy and configuration updates for entire VPN networks at a time, instead of configuring individual devices. Its built-in PKI infrastructure brings true scalability and seamless security to VPN networks. IPVia Smart Client is an easy-to-use remote working software, providing smooth and secure access to a corporate network through an IPVia Gateway. Features such as NAT Traversal, smart card and token support, built-in personal firewall, and centralized policy management make IPVia Smart Client the most convenient and versatile tool available for secure remote working.
