Director of Marketing Division from Oullim, Mr. Benjamin Lee says: "The internet security market in Korea is growing very rapidly. The market size is expected to grow from last years USD150 million to USD 350 million during 2001. Anti-virus and firewall market is becoming saturated but VPN market is still growing. The size of VPN market is expected to be USD 40 million in 2001, but next year the market will increase up to USD 120 million. We have now launched our VPN product using SSH's technology, and we are expecting to achieve a major market share in Korea. Unlike others, our product is software based product, which gives us competitive advantage."
"This is SSHs first deal in Korea, and it opens us a huge potential in the fast growing Korean security market," says President and CEO Markku Kangas of SSH. "Security industry in Korea is very dynamic, at the World class level, and we intend to contribute actively to its expansion."
SecureWorks Firewall Server controls an illegal access by administrator's security policy and provides a strong user authentication to allow a reliable user of access. In addition, it provides NAT(Network Address Translation) that do not reveal the internal network information and be made to use a flexible network address allocation. SecureWorks Firewall Server protects an internal network by implementing both low-level control such as packet filtering and high-level control such an application gateway.
IPSec is an IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard for protecting IP traffic using cryptography on the packet level. This Internet protocol is the primary security technology used in VPNs (Virtual Private Networks). A driving force for IPSec, VPNs allow users to establish encrypted and authenticated data communications between multiple network devices or networks using insecure public networks such as the Internet. SSHs IPSec solutions are among the leading toolkits for IPSec implementations for secure local and global communications. The companys latest product, SSH IPSEC Express Toolkit 4.0, adds scalable, strong security to IP networks. With SSH IPSEC 4.0, enterprise customers are ensured a high level of security, with considerable savings in product development time and delivery.
