SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of Internet security technologies, today announced that Galea Secured Networks has licensed the SSH IPSEC ExpressTM Toolkit 4.0. Galea Secured Networks, a leading manufacturer of high-throughput integrated VPN, SSL and Firewall security solutions, will integrate SSH's award-winning IPSEC (Internet Protocol Security) Express toolkit software into its line of high speed security processor boards starting with the SP-100 server protector series. "IP-VPNs have become standard in network security. We chose SSH's IPSec toolkit because of its proven track record for accelerated VPN deployment," said Christian Richard, Galea Secured Networks president and CEO. "Galea's products and solutions address the OEM, ISP/ASP and enterprise market. Integrating SSH's industry leading IPSec toolkit software will provide us with the necessary technology to further enhance our integrated VPN, SSL and firewall offering to this varied customer base."

The Galea SP-100 provides local server security by analyzing all network traffic coming through the network firewall to the server. The server protector uses various methods to detect, log and minimize the effects of numerous types of security threats such as DoS (denial of service) attacks and viruses. The Galea SP-100 protector works as a shield for the network server, filtering out viruses and other security breaches that escape detection by the network's firewall. The server protector defends the server from threats launched from both external and internal sources.
