Galea Secured Networks Chooses SSH IPSEC Express to Protect VPN, SSL & Firewall Servers
The Galea SP-100 provides local server security by analyzing all network traffic coming through the network firewall to the server. The server protector uses various methods to detect, log and minimize the effects of numerous types of security threats such as DoS (denial of service) attacks and viruses. The Galea SP-100 protector works as a shield for the network server, filtering out viruses and other security breaches that escape detection by the network's firewall. The server protector defends the server from threats launched from both external and internal sources.
"Despite the increased awareness of the need for Internet security, many companies are unaware that a security breach can happen at the heart of the network at the server level," said George Adams, president and CEO of SSH USA. "Galea Secured Networks' server protector solution uniquely prevents hacking and virus damage from inside the network where traditional firewalls have been helpless. We are pleased that the SSH IPSEC Express Toolkit will help ensure that VPNs are providing peak security."
About IPSec and SSH IPSEC ExpressTM Toolkit
IPSec is an IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard for protecting IP traffic using cryptography on the packet level. This Internet protocol is the predominant security technology used in VPNs. A driving force for IPSec, VPNs allow users to establish secure data communications between multiple networks or network devices using insecure public networks such as the Internet. SSH's IPSec solutions are one of the leading toolkits for IPSec implementations in secure local and global communications. The company's latest product, SSH IPSEC Express Toolkit 4.1, adds scalable, strong security to IP networks, with additional support for the VxWorks operating system, as well as for the industry's latest Internet and industry standards such as IPv6, enhanced PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and the new Rijndael cryptography standard. With SSH IPSEC 4.1, enterprise customers are ensured a high level of security, with considerable savings in product development time and delivery.SSH Corp. Contact
