The IPVia family of VPN solutions is built on SSH’s world-leading technology and core expertise in IPSec (Internet Security Protocol), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and NAT (Network Address Translation) Traversal (NAT-T). SSH Complete VPN offers service providers and enterprises an easy-to-deploy, easy-to- manage and scalable network solution to establish secure data communications among multiple networks or network devices using the Internet.

Communicating in today’s business environment requires companies to provide corporate network access for employees, customers, partners, and suppliers in the office and wherever they travel. SSH Complete VPN is a purpose-built product based on SSH’s industry-leading IPSec technology that brings strong encryption, authentication and data integrity to networks. IPSec, an IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard for protecting IP traffic, encrypts data packets and is the predominant security technology used in VPNs.

True Centralized Configuration, Policy Management and Distribution
With this feature, users are able to manage hundreds of SSH Complete VPNs and thousands of smart clients from a single location. The SSH Complete VPN allows for easy management and deployment of multiple distributed networks and VPNs. It utilizes Advanced Policy Management to "push" changes and upgrades to the client or gateway in real time. The Central Manager includes an embedded CA (Certificate Authority), SSH CertifierTM that enables auto- authentication to dramatically ease scalability of adding gateways, users and even new VPNs. In addition, the CA can be used for customers who want to implement PKI-based authentication throughout their networks.

Secure Access Anywhere
The "smart" client, utilizing IPSec, PKI and the emerging standard NAT-T, allows remote users the same secure and authenticated access as if they were within the corporate LAN. The "smart" client is based on SSH Sentinel - a feature-rich remote access VPN client software product that also includes a stateful inspection firewall.

Internet Access Technology-Agnostic
This allows for interoperability with any type of Internet access. SSH Complete VPN securely connects users to the corporate network or extranet, locally or remotely, regardless of the access method - dial-up, xDSL, cable, wireless or T1 making it a "true" VPN. The SSH Complete VPN is fully interoperable with other firewalls using IPSec standards.
