(NASDAQ: ALDN), today announced an alliance to provide support for Aladdin’s eToken in SSH’s security products. Support for two versions of Aladdin’s eToken devices - eToken R2 and eToken PRO - is currently available with SSH Secure Shell.

SSH Secure Shell is a client-server encryption software product designed to protect businesses from the most common break-in method used by hackers - stealing passwords from the Internet. SSH Secure Shell creates a secure environment by encrypting both user identities and passwords as well as data content before it travels across the Internet. The award-winning SSH Secure Shell application is now compatible with Aladdin’s authentication devices, the eToken R2 and eToken PRO.

eToken R2 is a USB device the size of a small house key that offers robust and powerful onboard 120-bit DES-X, two-factor authentication. As an authentication device, eToken R2 stores and encrypts credentials such as private keys, passwords and digital certificates, allowing corporations to trust the identity of users requesting access to protected content.

eToken PRO offers strong authentication and guaranteed non- repudiation for sensitive applications, such as e-banking, stock trading, e-commerce and financial transactions. eToken PRO's secure, on-board RSA 1024-bit key operations enable seamless integration into PKI architectures. eToken PRO can generate and store users' personal credentials, such as private keys, passwords and digital certificates, inside the protected environment of the smart card chip itself. eToken PRO offers both two-factor and two- way authentication, using advanced cryptographic smart card technology.

With these products, companies can generate and manage certificates, personalize tokens, and token-enable applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator using PKCS (Public Key Cryptography Standards) #11 or MSCAPI (Microsoft Crypto Application Program Interface).
