SSH partners with Symbian to provide security for next generation mobile phones
SSH Communications Security (HEX: SSH1V), today announced that it has partnered with Symbian to develop its world-leading Internet security technologies for Symbian based smartphones and communicators. Under the terms of the agreement SSH has become a Symbian technology partner and the companies will co-operate in marketing and development of SSHs Symbian-based technologies to Symbians licensees and other customers. The alliance will provide complete solutions for demanding security needs in areas such as mobile device access to corporate intranets, remote management and enterprise solutions.

In order to drive the adoption of mobile usage in corporations, Symbian is working with key technology companies, such as SSH, to enable the development of end-to-end solutions for enterprise users. These companies are creating enabling technologies to support the Symbian platform and licensing them to device manufacturers, enterprise application developers, systems integrators, and value-added resellers who are delivering solutions for enterprise customers.
