A total of 30,000 SSH shares were subscribed for using class A
option certificates according to the 1999 option program. The
subscription period for shares with class A option certificates
started on May 1, 2000. The issue of this Stock Option Plan was
approved by the General Meeting of August 5, 1999.

The corresponding increase in the share capital, in total EUR 900
was registered in the Finnish Trade Register on April 18, 2001. As
a result of the increase, the share capital of shares is EUR
828,239.97 and the total number of shares is 27,607,999.

The holders of the new shares are entitled to all shareholders
rights from the registration date April 18, 2001. The new shares
will be listed on the Helsinki Exchanges together with the other
shares on May 2, 2001.
