SSH CHANGES ITS CEO
Changes have been made in the companys management as SSH
enters a new phase in its development to be a global leader in
delivering network security solutions.
The companys current main products are world leaders in their
respective market segments, and its new products are targeted
at significantly larger market segments. In order to release
the full potential of its technology and product portfolio,
the company will establish a closer linkage to these new
target markets and organize itself accordingly.
SSH Communications Security Corps board has decided to
nominate the founder and chairman of the board, Tatu Ylönen,
to be the CEO to accelerate the execution of the companys
strategies, while moving to further strengthen the company by
finding a CEO experienced in the companys new target markets.
The present CEO, Markku Kangas, has resigned from the CEO
position and the board but will continue as an advisor to the
company. The board has nominated Tomi Laamanen to be the
chairman of the board.
