Furthering its position as a world-leading developer of Internet security technologies, SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V) announces that Ivan Wallis, SSH security applications engineer, will host a presentation focusing on "IPSec and Firewalls" at Connectathon 2001, in San Jose today from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Wallis will address the topic of enabling VPN (Virtual Private Network) vendors to seamlessly integrate firewall components into their security gateways. The IPSec (Internet Protocol Security)/firewall combination provides the necessary tools for encrypting and authenticating user data, while incorporating firewall policies necessary for protecting the enterprise network.

Wallis provides OEM support for SSH's IPSec and Certificate Authority product lines, as well as provides customer training on X.509 certificate and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) related areas. Wallis earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Prior to joining SSH, Ivan worked on software and security toolkit integration for Entrust in Canada.
