SSH Communications Security Raises $14 Million
SSH Communications Security (SSH), a world-leading developer of Internet security and advanced cryptography solutions, raised USD 14 million from 26 institutional investors in a private offering in December. The new owners include insurance companies, mutual funds and investment funds. SSH has issued 2,050,000 new shares, raising the total number of shares to 22,710,000.
"With this offering, SSH secured the working capital needed to support our fast international growth," said Markku Kangas, president and CEO of SSH Ltd.
SSH Communications Security Ltd. is a Finnish privately held company with a solid financial position. SSH has been profitable every year since its founding, and grown its revenues by more than 100 percent every year and over 300 percent in 1999.
