SSH teams with Nokia Networks to bring Broadband Systems Network Security Solutions to the Market
"We are very proud to partner with Nokia Networks in solving problems in Internet security," said Markku Kangas, President and CEO of SSH Communications Security Corp, "We believe that SSH has one of the most advanced security technology offerings on the market which we will integrate with Nokia's networking solutions."
SSH's products will be used in Nokia's Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) network terminals where SSH's technology will allow users to create end-to-end secured Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections.
NAT is a method that reduces the need for a large amount of publicly known IP addresses by creating a separation between publicly known and privately known IP addresses. Traditionally, NAT devices have prevented the use of end-to-end IPSec VPNs, because most VPN solutions cannot manage the address translation.
SSH NAT Traversal is a revolutionary technology that gives OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) the power to create secure VPN sessions across any product or application that needs to traverse a NAT device. SSH NAT Traversal is the first product of its kind to solve this problem by providing unparalleled functionality for secure remote access, strong client authentication with X.509 digital certificates, and end-to-end security within and beyond the enterprise.
