Nokia Licenses SSH Communications Security's IPsec Technology
SSH Communications Security, Inc. (SSH), the world-leading developer of Internet security and advanced cryptographic solutions, today announced that Nokia has licensed SSH IPSEC Express(TM) Toolkit. Based upon SSH's advanced cryptographic technology, SSH IPSEC Express is the leading IPsec (Internet Security Protocol) implementation for building effective and cost-efficient network security solutions.
As the Internet and its applications expand to include everything from Web servers to routers to smart phones, the need for secure IP networks increases exponentially. Additionally, advanced functions requiring heightened security are being incorporated into all levels of the network. The IPsec protocol is a widely adopted standard that provides strong cryptographic security and enables the feature-rich requirements of today's demanding IP networks.
