SSH Delivers IPsec Security Technology to Ericsson
SSH Communications Security and Ericsson have signed a license agreement to enable all of Ericsson Corporation to utilize SSH's IPsec (Internet Protocol Security) IKE (Internet Key Exchange) technology in Ericsson's products.
In the first stage, the technology will be incorporated into Ericsson's Remote Access Router product family. These routers connect remote users to companies' internal networks and these corporate LANs (Local Area Networks) are connected with each other.
SSH's IPsec technology represents the latest in IP security. It uses strong cryptography to provide highly secure communications. It complies with the world's highest security standards, including comprehensive support for the latest IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standards to enable the best possible compatibility with similar solutions.
Ericsson also has an option to implement the use of SSH's IPsec technology in other products. Based on the agreement, both companies will be involved in the integration and development of the products.
