SSH Overview
SSH Communications Security Corp (later SSH) enables thousands of financial institutions, retailers, government agencies, and other organizations to secure, manage, execute, monitor and audit their vital business information flows in corporate and public networks. We provide innovative solutions that consist of software products and services for information security and data transaction infrastructure, automation, and governance. Our solution is unique in its ability to seamlessly adapt to the existing infrastructure and business processes, and in its flexibility in cost-effectively accommodating changes and extensions to the business environment.
Multiple internal and external factors drive our customers to design and implement comprehensive and manageable security policies and data transaction processes.
Internally, customers seek cost-savings and operational efficiencies by increasing the manageability and resiliency of their data transaction environment, while ensuring its integrity by maintaining a unified level of security and visibility throughout the environment.
Externally, our customers are governed by increasing security and privacy related industry standards, regulations, and legislation. For instance, the payment card industry’s PCI Data Security Standard details a structured set of requirements for security controls in IT environments handling credit card data, including encryption, authentication, data access, and monitoring controls. Legislation on internal governance controls have also a major impact on our customers’ operations and business processes.
These factors drive our customers to protect sensitive data such as credit card holder information, financial data, and patient records. Strong end-user authentication, data encryption, policy enforcement, environment monitoring and auditing are key safeguards ensuring the security and continuity of our customers’ vital business data flows.
